It took a while to get everything together but it was worth it.
The room has:
acoustic treatments from Acoustic Innovations, speakers from Triad & Mirage, a
Sony LCD projector and B&K electronics. The whole shell was done with a
double layer of sheetrock sandwiching acoustic barrier for sound proofing.
Sounds fantastic.

I love my theater. We spend tons of time in it. We were lucky enough to have a
room in the house designed from the beginning as a theater.
There is a Zenith CRT projector / Faroudja scaler combination for really great
video. Kef Reference speakers and a B&K receiver sound great. We have a
Phillips Pronto remote to make it really easy to use.

I built this theater from the ground up using my own
imagination and design. I started off with the 156" Screen using
drywall that I curved to give a distinct look and sprayed with a product
called "Screen Goo". I then carefully placed SpeakerCraft in wall
speakers in precise locations of listening levels which includes an
additional rear center channel for the next 8.1 ch. technology. These
speakers are powered by a Yamaha RX-V1400 Receiver and a
powered SpeakerCraft Subwoofer.
I carpeted the wall panels I constructed for the in wall speakers then
added red velvet curtains in between for extra sound absorbtion. The
ceiling I used 12" ceiling tiles that lock together that I used liquid
nails to glue to the drywall above. Then I painted the ceiling tiles a
flat black to make the room darker for increased picture quality from
the Sharpvision XG-P10XU Commercial Projector.
This theater sounds AWESOME and I have had SOOO many people
asking me to build a theater for them that it is just unbelievable!
